Jockeys' Academy Opening Soon
The NPJAI is accepting applications to the Philippine Jockeys' Academy (PJA) which will open in the middle of 2010.
The PJA will offer a two-year course with subjects in horsemanship, equine basics, physical education, and general education.
At the end of the course, students who pass the requirements will be conferred the status of "apprentice" and, once licensed by the Philippine Racing Commission, may ride in regular races.
